Build a balanced three-weapon loadout
The interface provides three carried weapon slots. The strongest practical setup covers different ranges and failure states rather than filling all three slots with the same role.
| Slot | Role | Selection rule |
|---|---|---|
| Primary | AR or stable SMG | Comfortable recoil and enough ammunition for most encounters |
| Close-range | SMG or shotgun | Fast response in rooms, alleys and vehicle exits |
| Long-range or backup | Sniper or pistol | Solves distant targets or an empty primary magazine |
Upgrade or replace?
- Upgrade the main weapon only after confirming it will remain in the loadout.
- Compare the next upgrade cost with the price of the next weapon that fills the same role.
- Use the current Damage, Fire Rate, Magazine, Reload, Recoil, and Range fields instead of judging by rarity or price alone.
- Test both weapons on the same target and distance.
- Reopen the cards after a balance update.
Choose the strongest option for your activity
For a fair comparison, use the same target, distance, armor state, and difficulty. Note damage, time to defeat, ammunition use, reload interruptions, and recoil, then keep the weapon that performs best in the activity you repeat most often.

Weapon loadout FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Which weapon should fill the primary slot? | Use Chlorine or Left for Dead for rifle pressure, or Skin to Bone when a large magazine matters more than mobility. |
| Which weapons fit close range? | Starburster and Punk Tactics fit rooms, alleys, and fights around vehicles. |
| Which weapon covers long range? | Moneyshot is a sniper rifle for deliberate long shots. Frostbite can cover a medium-range backup role. |
| Should I buy the highest-level weapon first? | Only when it fills a missing role and leaves enough Cash for ammunition and progression. |
| How should I compare two weapons? | Use the same target, distance, upgrade state, and difficulty, then compare ammunition use, reloads, recoil, and completion time. |
